My office is comfortable and private, more like a living room than a clinic office. Phone calls are returned the same day.  Most insurances are accepted.  Evening and weekend hours available.

I Can’t

The answer was fast, firm and killed the project before it even got started.

The answer came from myself to myself, quickly, that I couldn’t do a step of a project that I have been wanting to do for a while. Just like that I nearly dropped the project. This is one of my ants, automatic negative thoughts; I can’t.

Ants are thoughts that cause us to feel badly in some way or another. They come quickly and we tend to obey them without question.

I can’t.

It takes too long.

It’s too hard.

I should…

This is awful.

What if?

Others would think…

I’m not as good as…

It’s all your fault.

It’s all my fault.

I never…

I always…

Fortunately, I immediately recognized this ant and decided that I will figure out how instead of accepting “I can’t”.
