The Birthday Challenge

Dr. Laura Sleggs, Naturopathic Doctor and I invite you to join us for our Birthday Challenge between our birthdays, September 15 and October 15.
The challenge is to strive for sugar-free living. This isn’t about perfection, being absolutely without sugar. It is about increasing awareness of sugar in our lives. During this month as we try to be sugar-free, we will learn just how important sugar is to us; when it is easy/hard to do without it; and what it feels like physically and emotionally to be without sugar.
Oh, did I mention that products such as Aspartame, Splenda, and Nutrasweet aren’t any better for us than sugar?
Go for natural sweeteners instead such as honey, maple syrup, stevia, and xylitol. I’m curious for myself what it will be like to limit(not eliminate) these as well.
